Avalicy

Terms of Service

Effective August 25, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Avalicy ("Avalicy," "we," "us"). By checking the box at checkout, you accept them.

If you purchased through one of our affiliates, these terms still govern your use of the Avalicy platform. Anything your affiliate separately agreed with you is between you and them.

1. What you are buying

You are buying a one-time build: a credit policy document tailored to the answers you give in our questionnaire, plus any modules you selected at checkout. An expert reviews your policy before it reaches you, and you get a debrief walking you through what was written and why.

Your scope and your price lock when you pay. Adding a module later is a separate purchase.

2. This is not legal advice

Avalicy provides software that generates draft credit and collections policy documents based on the information you supply. The output is informational only and is not legal advice. No attorney-client relationship is created by your use of Avalicy. Credit, collections, and compliance requirements, including but not limited to the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Robinson-Patman Act, applicable antitrust law, unclaimed-property/escheatment rules, tax obligations, and reserve/accounting standards, vary by jurisdiction, industry, and circumstance, and change over time. You should have any policy reviewed by qualified legal counsel before adopting or relying on it. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for your organization's compliance with all applicable laws. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Avalicy, its partners, and its reviewers disclaim all liability for any loss, claim, or damage arising from the use of, or reliance on, any document or recommendation produced through the service.

If your policy is accompanied by a Review Findings document, that document reflects observations from Avalicy's expert review. It is provided to help you strengthen your credit function and is not an audit, a legal opinion, or a compliance certification, and it creates no obligation to act.

3. Everything you tell us is confidential

We treat everything you give us as your confidential information: your questionnaire answers, your uploaded documents, your finished policy, and the fact that you are a customer at all.

We will not disclose any of it, except to:

  • the expert who reviews your policy, who is bound by the same obligation;
  • the service providers we use to run Avalicy (hosting, email, and payment processing) under contract, and only as far as running the service requires;
  • anyone we are legally compelled to disclose to, in which case we will tell you first unless we are barred from doing so.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with other customers. This obligation does not expire, and it outlives your account.

You do not need a separate NDA with us. This section is that commitment.

We protect your information with encryption at rest, access controls, and tenant isolation, which means your data is walled off from every other customer's. No system is perfectly secure and we will not pretend otherwise, but that is what we do and what we will keep doing.

We do not ask for your bank or account numbers, and you should not send them to us. Your finished policy does not reproduce your banking details; instead it points to your own remittance instructions — the ones you already issue to customers with their invoices and statements — so that information stays somewhere we never hold it. Please do not include it in an uploaded file either.

4. How we use what you tell us

We use your answers to build your policy, to support you afterward, and to run your annual review if you buy one.

Separately, we may use answers in de-identified, aggregated form to improve the service and to produce industry benchmarks. De-identified means stripped of anything that identifies you or your company. We will never publish, sell, or share anything that identifies you, and no other customer will ever see your information in a form that points back to you.

5. How long we keep things

Your account, your policy, and your answers: indefinitely, unless you ask us to delete them. That is deliberate. It is what lets you come back next year, update what changed, and see the difference instead of starting over.

Anything you upload: 90 days. We purge uploaded files 90 days after your policy is delivered. You do not have to ask. Your answers stay; the files you attached do not need to.

You can ask us to delete your account and everything in it at any time, and we will. Export your policy first, because we cannot get it back for you afterward.

6. Who owns what

You own your policy. The finished document is yours. Use it, edit it, adapt it, share it inside your company, keep it forever. You owe us nothing further for it and you do not need our permission.

We own the system that made it: the questionnaire, the template library, the generation software, and the Avalicy name and brand.

The one thing you may not do is resell or redistribute your policy as a product or service to third parties, or use it to build a competing policy-generation service. Using it as the starting point for your own company's documents is exactly what it is for. Selling it on is not.

7. Payment

All sales are final. Because you receive the full questionnaire and your drafted policy immediately after purchase, we do not offer refunds.

Prices are in U.S. dollars. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

8. Your account

Your email address is your identity here, and control of that inbox is how we confirm it is you. Keep it secure, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it.

We may suspend or close an account being used to attack the service, to break the law, or to violate section 6.

9. Limits on our liability

Section 2 sets out the disclaimers that apply to what Avalicy produces. In addition, and to the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim relating to Avalicy is limited to the amount you paid us for the build the claim relates to. We are not liable for lost profits, lost business, or other indirect or consequential damages.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. A change applies to purchases made after the new version takes effect, never retroactively. We record which version you accepted when you bought, so what you agreed to stays what you agreed to.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable United States law. The specific governing-law state will be designated in an updated version once Avalicy's operating agreement is finalized, and that update will apply only to purchases made after it takes effect.
